Experiment Information:

The FIREX field campaign is a joint NOAA-NASA effort to examine fire emissions and their impact on air quality. Both the NASA DC-8 and ER-2 aircraft participated in this effort. The ER-2 flights during August 2019 are based out of Palmdale, CA. Information on FIREX can also be found at NOAA's FIREX website.
